Hi Yogi. Thank you very much for your reply. I've never heard about PHP4WD before! A quick google search sent me back to this forum. I'll check it out. Do you know if it's possible to use MSSQL Server with this? Regards. ----- Update: I've already seen a couple of videos and it seems it works ok with MSSQL. Nevertheless, I'm willing to create a webapp for accessinby RAUL - WinDev Forum
Hi Pauly. I have a question for you about 10 users WAS. In the same manner that sometimes is possible to use MSSQL Express for small implementations, I'm wondering whether or not is possible to use this small WAS for few users... When you open the config tool there's a place where you can modify the 10 users value to a max of 50. Do you know if this actually means 50 users max? Anyoby RAUL - WinDev Forum
What Paulo said should work fine for what you need. I've never issued Control Center for something like that. Another stuff you can try is creating a Query Testing forlder in your project. Then create all the queries you want to test in there. You can create your queries entirely in SQL. When a query is ready just move it to its location or just discard it if you're using other approby RAUL - WinDev Forum
Hi. Looking for info about WAS I've found this old thread, so I'm using it because this is a related question. I'm a newbe to WB. Some years ago I've found, here in this forum, very useful info about WB (related to what kind of projects are better suited for WB or WD, PHP web apps, and so on) but I couldn't find it again. In those years, no need for WB yet. That forumby RAUL - WinDev Forum
Hi. Mostly, there is no title bar in the skins provided by WD. It's just a section in the upper side of an image. Perhaps you can search your project directory in order to find the background image used for your skin, and edit that bitmap to change the color you say. I don't have WD 24 but in the Description of any window should be the "property" pointing to the image you nby RAUL - WinDev Forum
Hi. Please provide some extra info in order to understand what you are trying to accomplish. What do you want to check? There's no need to manually open beforehand the files involved in a query. When you execute it, the files are opened automatically by WD. Is this a query that you have within a procedure? Is it a query object made with the designer? Regards.by RAUL - WinDev Forum
Hi everyone. I have seen the WD examples and honestly, I don't see it useful. A lot of objects for doing practically nothing. I understand that this might be useful in large (or very large) projects, but there's a lot of extra work to do. What do you think about MVP in Wx? If anyone are using this approach, what are your remarks (pros / cons) about it? Else, which is your apprby RAUL - WinDev Forum
Hi Ericus. I didn't try this but you can see it it's possible to use .visible property in report code. You can do this in the properties windows if I'm not wrong, so I guess it should work. Regards.by RAUL - WinDev Forum

Hi Michael. It happened to me too with v. 18. In my case solution was rather easy because I just got rid of the culprit procedure. I had no time too see what's going wrong so I left it. In my case was a thread procedure. In you case I would issue dynamic audit (by the way... for me, dynamic audit never worked with a compiled exe, even when it should work when you set de .waudit file in tby RAUL - WinDev Forum
Hi everyone. I need to receive some commands or even only data in a running Win app (exe). Basically, it will receive numbers in order to achive some calcullations and then, return the result. The data or commands must be passed to this app thru a DLL function. Why this way? Because that's the only way possible in this context. I see WD doesn't generate DLLs from a project, so I mby RAUL - WinDev Forum
Thank you Paulo for your reply. The services are ok but there's still a chance with the patch. I have to try that. Best regards.by RAUL - WinDev Forum
Hi everybody. This message arise when the user tries to execute a WD app from a shared folder, in all Win 10 workstations: "Le fichier exécutable n'est pas valide. Les informations sur les Bibliothèques externes sont erronées. Invalid program file. Bad information on external libraries." Thank you! I'll check it out! I also think that there's no problem in the programs plane. All of them have been working fine for years.by RAUL - WinDev Forum
Hi Guenter. This is an old system coded in WD 14. I had no idea about new ways of transactions (in newer versions). The last WD verstion I have access to is 18. Sadly, WX is too expensive for me and there is no demand where I live. As "rule of thumb", I never switch to a newer version of any software, until it's absolutly nesessary. In the last 21 years, I've had some baby RAUL - WinDev Forum
Thanks Al for your reply. The multi-users mode is on. I can't generate the problem by myself. It seems the apps work ok for a while until they start to fail because of the lock problem. I've already tried the admin rights for the users but the problem remains. In one of this apps there's a situation like the one you discribe: update a sequence number. Hello everybody. I have an old system with 4 exes and the DB in HF Classic mode. The apps directory is a shared folder with proper permissions. It was working fine for many years. The directory used to reside on a Win XP (imagine how old it is...) That box was replaced and the entire system migrated to a Win 7 environment (the client has some remaining "7" licencies yet...) Hello Pao, Dennis, Guenter and Arie. Thanks a lot for all your remarks about this matter. All of them are very useful and clear in order to face this scalability issue. The only remaining thing is the hardest one: the client desicion Best regards!by RAUL - WinDev Forum
Thanks Guenter for the reply. Now, something related to this: Switching to HFCS will force to me to make some changes in the programs? Or everything will be more or less transparent? I've seen a lot of years ago a project of yours, for connecting to a Classic and CS database with no much trouble, if I'm not wrong...by RAUL - WinDev Forum
Hello guys. I have an old WD system compounded by 4 apps with HF Classic as DB. It was running ok for several years in a small office. Now, the client has a better and greater infraestructure and wants some modifications to the system, being the main the change of the DB to Sql Server. Actually, there's no need for doing this but the client always has the reason. I never used HFCS before,by RAUL - WinDev Forum

Hello everybody. My last WD project was in 2014. Too bad for me... because developing with this suite is my passion... I see most of you guys are still here (Fabrice, Derek, Arie, Steven Sitas, Ola, Guenter of course). I also remember good Pragma, he was a nice guy... I also forget a lot of names... The thing is that I can`t figure out how to exclude an image file in a project. I have severby RAUL - WinDev Forum
