QuoteA subscription model for using the software and staying up-to-date digitally would be so much more logical nowadays. Hi Peter, in fact I do love the dongles! It's my decision on which of our computers I'm working. Of course, it's a big "no no!" to code on a customer's computer, but I can always access the computer in the office by PcVisit (a cheaper alternativby gpredl - WinDev Forum
Hi Argus, as a dealer we did not receive any warnings about that! Currently I'm using a French dongle because we want to have early info about features. If that means that I have to buy an English or an International version additionally ... it's not very logical. They have no price for updating a French version 25 to an International version 25 in their price list. Yes, the downloadby gpredl - WinDev Forum
Hi Paul, how did you get an English WX26 ?? Or is it a French one? If so then you can see yourself how our French colleagues are suffering ...by gpredl - WinDev Forum
Hi, we just finished a big project and are looking for a new one. WINDEV & WINDEV Mobile.by gpredl - WinDev Forum
Hi, no, we can always access our office computers from a customer's site, start WINDEV, apply changes to programs, compile and apply the new version to the customer's computer. We do that using Teamviewer and PCVisit and it works flawlessly. However, you cannot start WINDEV locally and use the dongle of a remote computer.by gpredl - WinDev Forum
Hi, did you click the checkbox "Force the Flush" in General WINDEV options?by gpredl - WinDev Forum
Hi, this is no problem for me. I think, there's something special in your case!by gpredl - WinDev Forum
Hi Erik, maybe, the window is shown outside of the screen?by gpredl - WinDev Forum
Hi Ola, instead of letting WinDev store some control parameters in the registry, I let a HFSQL file do it. Since it is a multiuser program, the parameters are stored for the current user only. So, one user may have the rows of a Table in green and in Arial 14, the other in blue and in Verdana 11. You could do much the same by storing the window's x & y sizes and its position within thby gpredl - WinDev Forum
No,version 26 isn't yet here. It may take some days from now ... and yes, it's the earliest release of a new version I've seen in the last 20 years!by gpredl - WinDev Forum
Hi Kevin, please, if posting a question tell us the product and version you're using! Like WD25, WM22, WB23 .... thank you! Products are very different and what will work on one product will sometimes not work on another one. Next, because you're new to the forum, we'd like to know how long you are using that product already in order to let us have an estimate of your experieby gpredl - WinDev Forum
Hi, I'm using an Edit Control MyValue for inputting a numeric value. Depending on the input mask (here it is "999999"), the Edit Control will automatically return an int or a ?-byte real. However, directly calling a procedure like MyProcedure(MyValue as 4-byte unsigned int, .... will fail! The procedure does not automatically convert integer (= int) to 4-byte unsigned intby gpredl - WinDev Forum
Hi Aad, did you use WDINT ?by gpredl - WinDev Forum
Hi, it seems that PC Soft upgraded the HTML-control of version 26 a lot.by gpredl - WinDev Forum
Hi Peter, yes, it still does so ... greetings!by gpredl - WinDev Forum
Hi Argus, thank you very much! You just saved me from writing hundreds of lines of code! I only looked at the csv-file that I got from our customer. Yesterday I asked him to re-export the data from their Excel and use the | character as a field separator - not the darned comma. And ho and below, the csv-file is a simple thing to read now! Thank you for your advice!by gpredl - WinDev Forum
Hi, in regard to the current memory sizes and processor speeds it shouldn't be a horrible thing to convert the whole pdf to text and search it for a certain keyword?by gpredl - WinDev Forum
Hi, generally, they are there for executing a procedure (e.g. execute code, show a window, which is a procedure as you know ...)by gpredl - WinDev Forum
Hi, Excel, LibreOffice Calc & Co can save / export a worksheet to a CSV-file. That's fine. They're using commas as delimiters, there's no way to change that in LibreOffice Calc at least. If one or more delimiter/s are contained in an exported cell, the value is simply enclosed in apostrophes. Hi, I'd say you'd have to run a loop on the cell phone in order to detect the connected PC. If there is an event (I don't know WM enough) you could use that. You could solve it the other way around: function USBDetectRemovableStorage(...) could detect the connected phone. In parts of their memory, most cell phones work like a storage device.by gpredl - WinDev Forum
Hi Peter, are you using the command PDFtoText(..) ??by gpredl - WinDev Forum
Hi sivakrith, this small program ist just using WLanguage commands! I simply don't know why they don't work verywhere. You could compare results with a tool like Nirsoft's USBDeview https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html Btw, are you an administrator on that PC?? Being a simple user will be a problem. This one is for users too: More about devices connected to yby gpredl - WinDev Forum

Hi, I don't know for sure either but before starting to identify Windows events, I'd try to put something like that StaticYours..x = TableName.ColumnName..xby gpredl - WinDev Forum
Hi Sivakprakash, I'd say that this is, uhm, a bug. Please report to Tech Support. This will not cure your problem, of course. I recommend to fix that by using a line of code instead. Try to put it in "Whenever resizing the column ..."by gpredl - WinDev Forum
Hi, I can do that without any problems. Maybe a thing of your chosen keyboard language?by gpredl - WinDev Forum
Hi Markus, thank you! Yes, I'll try that as well. Seems to be a better way than the TreeView Table, because this one column "Gruppe" is lost space of the table..by gpredl - WinDev Forum
Hi José, thanks a lot! I thought about that but did not try it. Now I'll do it! P.S. Works just fine with two lines of code! Thank you for your help!by gpredl - WinDev Forum
