Hi, You can uncheck the option "generate the html code even if it is invisible" on the Advanced tab of the control properties. Regards, Pietby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi Argus, Thanks for the feedback, I like the PIN idea. Regards, Pietby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi, My client has shared pc's in his stores. Employees can login in the web based system for management functions. It is imperative that the systems knows which user is logged in because each one has different rights and they can access personal info too. Now there's a problem because Chrome stores the login and passwords. How can we prevent users from logging in into the accountby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi Derek, I have solved things like this in the past by using Windev. Provided you are running Windows servers you could consider: - Creating a Windev program that sends the appointments, install on your server and use the Windows Scheduler to start this program periodically. - If you need continuous checking, then you can create a service of this Windev program and run it on your server.by pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi Darren, The direct access mode for a table in Webdev is very limited, so I always set the table mode to "data loaded in memory" and "put all in browser cache". I use this all the time to let the user select one or more rows of a table, have never had the problems you describe. Regards, Pietby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi Aad, You can still use an awp page to start the site and use DynamicSiteDisplay.to choose a landing page. Create an awp page in your project and define a parameter for this page: PROCEDURE PAGE_StartSite(sPageName) In the onload code: DynamicSiteDisplay("mysite",sPageName) Then configure the url rewriting for PAGE_StartSite so you can enter www.mysite/company1 like I describy pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi Issah, You can add a first custom row to the combo or you can use code cmb_MyCombo=-1. Otherwise there's no way to change the standard behaviour. Best regards, Pietby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi André, It depends on what type of looper, Best way is to check the page source in the browser. For a Classic type looper the alias of a static with a webdev alias of "A4" could be in your page with an ID of "C-1-A4" for row 1 and "C-2-A4" for row 2 etc. This might only work for visible elements. Of course it is not the recommended way to handle stuff in WBby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi Aad, You need url rewriting in Webdev. On the project tab choose Referencing, Configure the url rewriting. Define it for the start page of your project. Use / for the character separator, then click on the dots after the url and define a parameter name. Then you can use Pageparameter in the page to determine the value of the parameter and go to the proper page. Kind regards, Pietby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi Ericus, You can do a hReadSeekfirst on the id of the query in the "Whenever modified" code of the combo and then get the date fields. Kind regards, Pietby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi Erik, Can you delete the .wcg file? Kind regards, Pietby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi Michael, On the style tab click the three dots on the right of the css style and check "decoration none'" on the Text tab. Regards, Pietby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi Michael, In my experience you don't need zones in responsive design. In fact I when I first started designing responsive I remember struggling to get rid of this awful feature. Best regards, Pietby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
HI Al, That's obviously French (Jour, Mois, Annéé) Regards, Pietby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi Michael, I know at least Apple has a policy not to allow video or audio te be started without user interaction as it would involve data cost for the user without his consent. Regards, Pietby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi JP, Something like <input type="text" id="firstname"> If you want to learn more about html, check w3schools.com Regards, Pietby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi JP, In that case instead of edtt controls you could try one or more RTA controls and put the html code for the input control(s) with your own ID in it. Regards, Pietby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi JP, If you need code then why are you using a static page instead of an awp page? Regards, Pietby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi JP, It's not possible to change the control ID (Alias in WB terminology). If you explain what you want to achieve then there sure will be a workaround. Regards, Piet .by pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi Peter, You could try one of these:: In awp you can see in the browser bar there are two parameters WD_ACTION_=SCROLLTABLE&A12=54. Then you can use pageparameter to retrieve the value of A12. Or get looperposition on the looper in the Click code of the pager.. Or use Myself.Value in the pager click code (dynamic site) Regards, Pietby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi Jp, I suppose you just copy all the html pages from your static site to your server. Regards, Pietby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi Ken, In my case sometimes the renamed element is stored in SCM and locally it is stored with the old name. Then there's an issue regarding the logical and physical name being different. You are right that there's a read-only issue that causes it. Just reopening the project mostly does not work. Regards, Pietby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi, Suddenly some popups have a solid background overlay, only in Chrome. Does anyone else experience this? I'm afraid Chrome no longer ranks #1 in my browser list, there have been too many issues lately. Or is it that WB uses technology that is deprecated? Regards, Pietby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi Victor, You can use DynamicSite Display to star a dynamic site from an awp page. And pass some encrypted key as a parameter to confirm that the user is validated. Regards, Pietby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi, Has anyone had the annoying "unable to save modified code" error when renaming a query or some other element? (not renaming outside the project of course) This happen ALL the time. You end up with a discrepancy between what's stored locally and in SCM. It requires a lot of fiddling to correct this. Regards, Pietby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi, I don't see any purple in your example. RGB is just a function to generate a color, it cannot be returned as a result. An RGB color is made up of 3 bytes e.g. indian red is hex #B0171F or RGB(176,23,31) or decimal 2037680. You can easily see the RGB values in the hex number: #B0=176, #17=23 and #1F=31. In Windev 22 I have no problem getting a pixelcolor from an image (it even workby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi, Well, looking at the picture, there's a black P in the upper left corner. The pixelcolor of black is 0. So no problem here. Regards, Pietby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi Michael, You probably thought of this already, but perhaps you're missing a dll? Regards, Pietby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi, You can try to load the image into an image variable. If it works, you know it is a setting of the image control you need to change. Regards, Pietby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
Hi Derek, Did you try running the query in testmode and did it return a result as expected? I have never had any problems building or modifying reports in WB22. If you have an internal query for the report I suggest you save and use it as a standalone query and bind that query to the report. Regards, Pietby pietvanz - WinDev Forum
