Hi, I tried your code and it works as expected over here. No need for dStartDrawing as Piet also mentioned Tested with WD21 and WD23 (don't have WD20 installed anymore…) Are you sure the image itself is fine? Did you try loading other images and other x,y coordinates?by ArieM - WinDev Forum
Hi, you need iPaperSource for that And you can let the user pick a papertray with this code // initialize the printer parameter window with the requested printer but don't make it permanent iConfigure(COMBO_Printer..DisplayedValue,True) // preset the window with the values choosen before iParameter(iPaperSource,EDT_PaperSource) iParameter(iPaperSize,EDT_PaperSize) // show the pby ArieM - WinDev Forum
Put the APK file on (one of) your website(s) and de user can download it from there. After that Android wil start the installation as usual. Make sure you add the apk-extension as a downloadable file to your webservers config. Also on the device you have you allow 'Unknown sources', because the apk is not coming from the Play Store.by ArieM - WinDev Forum
Hi, is this the case when your app is still running or active in the background. Try to close the app fist and do an install then to see if that helps. I had the same issue caused by inproperly opening/closing windows, causing some kind of dead loop. (closing one window and opening the parent again…). After solving this the installer process could 'close' my app the right way andby ArieM - WinDev Forum
Afaik, this option creates en EML file somewhere and tries to open it with the default application in Windows.by ArieM - WinDev Forum
In IIS all websites are listed under a node called something like Sites-DefaultWebSites or Sites-MyWebsites if you defined more than one site (with their own bindings and/or portnumbers). You can point the default for a node to one of the sites it holds. Search Google for "IIS default website" to see how.by ArieM - WinDev Forum
Hi Peter, user gpwOpenConnection() the same way you use HOpenConnection()by ArieM - WinDev Forum
Hi, I have a small utility to send SMS messages using Messagebird. This works as expected by calling a REST webservice. So far so good. The receving user also has the option to send an answer by SMS. Messagebird receives this answer (using one of their mobile numbers) and redirects this answer to me. This is done by calling a URL at our side. The documentation says: "Your platform sby ArieM - WinDev Forum
Hi TorBjarne yourwebservice.Address = xxxxx there are some more like yourwebsrvice.user and so on. Check this help pageby ArieM - WinDev Forum
Just my 2 cents, but the question is not detailed enough. Yes hfsql does a great job and no hfsql does not. It all depends on the nature of your project. - lot's off simultaneous users? - heavy queries gathering info or just enter some data and add a few records? - is there a need to access the database with other tools (like PowerBI or Qlikview) - is there an IT department involved (by ArieM - WinDev Forum
Did you already see this tutorial?by ArieM - WinDev Forum
Michael, I'm not sure if WD is handling this itself, but do you convert the binary info to the base64 format? This ensures the data does not contain any sequences which could "break" the JSON field holding this data. That could very well explain the 'every now and then error'. It depends on the nature of your binary data then.by ArieM - WinDev Forum
Hi Lee, It looks like you installed the wrong server. Afaik the one you mention is a webservice itself, allowing you the get access to server databases from a remote client directly. Defining a connection to this webservice and using regular H-commands as if the database was local on the device. My guess is you developed a webservice by your self and in that case you need the 'normal&by ArieM - WinDev Forum
Hi Yogi Yang wm22 or older? first try to clean up temp files, used by WM as a kind of cache. Only then you will get a fresh recompile c:\Users\YogiYang\AppData\Local\Temp\FRMK_Android_xxxxxx and also the Android map inside your project map, i.e. c:\My Mobile Projects\My_Project\Android\ Then do a recompile/rebuild WM23 will do a better job by the way. No such problems since I useby ArieM - WinDev Forum
Hi Garry, you say the last change you made was in the analysis and now you are unable to recompile. Although your backup is a few days old I still would go that way, but not using the full backup. Try replacing the the project.ANA map with the one from the backup. This holds the analysis maybe it will rcompile after that. Of course now you get some errors (your renamed TYPE_field is not reby ArieM - WinDev Forum
As long as you don't use any Google stuff (maps and so on or put the app in the Playstore) the "using a generic signature" will do.by ArieM - WinDev Forum
Stefan, did you change anything lately in this project which could be related to getting an error now? Try going back to a previous version and see if that one will compile. If so, then add your changes again one by one. If not, try so compile an example or small test project.by ArieM - WinDev Forum
Hi Stefan, delete this map will solve that c:\Users\Arie\AppData\Local\Temp\FRMK_Android_23.0.253.0US\ where in your case it will be for V22by ArieM - WinDev Forum
In WM23 there is an option for that on the window level "Allow the window scroll when the virtual keyboard is opened" Don't see that in WM22, so in Wm20 I guess you are stuckby ArieM - WinDev Forum
Garry, that looks pretty much the same as I do here, except that the link is pointing correctly in my case (so without referencing [1]) I do see one difference compared to my definitions (and as said: 'global' and not as a class member) Try m_arrBenchSheet is array of StBench instead of m_arrBenchSheet is dynamic array of StBenchby ArieM - WinDev Forum
Hi Gary, I perfectly can use an array of structures for printing. So it IS possible. It looks like you have defined oCount:m_arrBenchSheet[1] as the data source of your report. You most probably need m_arrBenchSheet as the complete array, but maybe WD is not capabable of that. Because it is a sub-variable of oCount Can you show us how oCount and m_arrBenchSheet are defined? Try creaby ArieM - WinDev Forum
Raul, I agree with Dennis when it comes to switching from HF-classic to HFSQL. Most of the time your app needs change at all, except for opening the database connection. I use an inifile to hold the settings llike server IP and so on and then do HOpenConnection() followed by HChangeConnection() to get things done. Check the help for more info, but that's basicly all. Did someone already use V24 and can tell me if this 'problem' has been solved? I experience this problem in V22 and V23 (although the latter seem to be a tiny bit faster)by ArieM - WinDev Forum
Popoy, add this line to your project init code or at some other global place EXTERN "WinConst.WL" put this line in de opening or init section of your main-window Event("YourProc", "*.", WM_INPUTLANGCHANGEREQUEST) And create a procedure in this window like this PROCEDURE YourProc(nMessage, wParam, lParam) YourProc should now run whenever the language isby ArieM - WinDev Forum
Mauricio, my first guess would be that you WM is UNICODE. So you have to convert the text to unicode first in WB using StringToUTF8() or AnsiToUnicode () and then use Crypt()by ArieM - WinDev Forum
Merry Christmas and all the best for 2019 Arieby ArieM - WinDev Forum
Hi Pete, afaik that is indeed how Android (or may it be WM) works. The GUI is refreshed when exiting the procedure, You could try to - move the image display itself to a second procedure, called from within your loop. Maybe even an internal procedure will work. Jus ta guess - or use threads to separate the query-loop from the GUI actionsby ArieM - WinDev Forum
Hi Al Didn't think of that, so thanks. But it's already turned off....by ArieM - WinDev Forum
Yes V22. V23 seems to do the job better, But this is a huge project, did not have time to migrate yet. I don't expect much problems but still…by ArieM - WinDev Forum
