Disable enter key

Hi All

Anyone know how to disable the enter key so the user is forced to hit the "Accept/OK" key before a record is added?

Currently if the user uses "Enter" instead of "Tab" the record is added and the transaction completed.

Hello Dave

One simple way is to create an enabled but invisible button on the window that traps the return key. When you create the button, make it of type "Validate" as this will then interecpt the Return/Enter key. If there is no code in the click event then nothing happens.

Hi

Right click on button, choose Description and Choose option Normal intead Validate.
Now Enter work same like TAB.

1. If you choose Validate (buton type) , ENTER is default for Save instantly
2. Cancel button mean ESC and close window .
