Column select text in code editor

Hi All


As a long time user of separate program editors, I have got used to column select/cut/paste etc of text.

I don't suppose this is supported in the WinDev code editor? Some undocumented
key combination?

Seems to be a rare thing in IDEs

It's a long time ago indeed that we could choose the code editor of our choice....
Most modern (5gl) languages don't alow editing their code with antother editor than the one coming with the IDE.

At the other hand, waiting half a day until the cue was ready to compile our stuff, ...
the project leader making some remarks because we had the nerv to try compiling while there were more than 3 syntax errors in our code,...

Ah, yes, it was simpler in my day: 80 x 25 text mode, 16 colors, no events to worry about.:spos:

On the other hand, trying to get the code and the network drivers to fit in 640k.:sneg:
And as for printing...:-)
