... or can I use the French Version of the deployment server (will it install with my 'English' activation key) ?

yes you can use the French server, but the server level error messages will be in french.

And, you didn't ask, but NO, you shouldn't use v27 this early in the year... it's not stable yet.

Yes, but my software is also pre-release, and I need (hopefully) a fix for the the WebDev > WinDev functionality that isn't working in V26.

you should have got a download link for the v27 WB app server. If not, then ask your distributor!

Also - V27 did fix the WebDev > WinDev bug that I had reported to PCSoft.
