FCrypt & VB / .NET

Has anyone used WinDev to encrypt a file & sent it a VB / .NET application?

Looking at the help for .NET, apparently I need a Key & an IV to decrypt file. WinDev only appears to provide a password.

Is it possible to easily implement cross-language encryption & decryption, or is it necessary to use third-party software.

Has anyone else tried to do this?

Thanks.

Hi...

Encryption and decryption is just a question of using the same algorithm
on both side, no matter the language... Windev support natively several
type of standard encryption (see help). I'm sure you'll find a .net
assembly dealing with one of those well known solutions

Best regards
