Unable to edit data on PPC
May 27, 2009 09:07AM
Hello,
when I install a application on my PPC and try to edit any record I get this error. There is no problem when testing on PC. Does anyone have a idea why this could be?

Thanks for your Help.
Hans

Hi,

From looking at the error message I'm guessing it is read-only. Have you checked the properties of the file to see if it is ?

I'm wondering if the install made it that way.

Hi Glen,
yes it says file is read only ! I have however no idea why. When you say I should check if the file is read only ... can this be seen under windev or you mean on PPC?
I can not find any feature about this.

Thanks
Hans

Hi Hans

The easiest way I know is to use the Windows Mobile Device Center and navigate to the file in question and look at the properties.
