WD 12 Trigger

Hello to All,

I have a simple table linked to a simple query. The table has the "Backup during row exit" and "Cascading input" options checked. The query is executed with the hModifyFile parameter in the table initialization code. When run, the file gets updated with new entries and modification made in the table.
Sofar so good, hardly any programming needed.
However the defined trigger for the file is not executed.

Is it normal behaviour that the trigger is not executed and should I just accept that I have to use TableModify or TableAdd instead of automatic methods?

Regards,
Piet

i don't know how it works in WD12.
In WD11 the trigger (difined by programming) only fires if you use the file directly with H* intructions, if you use querys or sql instructions like insert/update/delete the trigger don't fire.
