[WD12] How to delete all Records

Hi!

I want to delete all records from a HyperFile File. Is there a command like "truncate" or do i need to delete each record?

Thank you.

Best regards
Andreas

See the help for HCreation(FileName).

Hi Andreas,

no, you just have to use the command HCreation(FileName) and that's it!

Kind regards,
Guenter

Just need to remember that this method will also reset the file's internal record numbering as well, so it's not exactly the same as deleting all the rows in the table.

Cheers...

Thank you for this hint, but this is exactly what i want - like "truncate" does for the most SQL-Databases.
