How to hide application objects
April 07, 2009 05:40PM
Hello,

Is there a way of hiding an application object in either the exe or a dll so that it cannot be seen in windows explorer. For example, I have designed a watermark that I use in printing some security documents. I would like to hide the jpeg of this water mark such that no one can retrieve it from the installed folder. Any ideas?

Thanks and best regards

Hi,

Via the project menu, choose 'Add Elements' and select the file(s) to include. This will embed the file(s) in the generated exe or wdl. You can now call the image file straight by it's name in coding without path qualifier.

Cheers,

P.
