"No Code" in a control

"No Code" in a control

Twice now, I've gotten a message "No Code in <ControlName>" when I right click on the control and select "Code". Once before this happened and I recreated the page from scratch and I seem to remember that fixing it. I'd rather not have to keep doing that.

Anyone know why I am getting this message and if there is anything I can do about it?
