[WebDev] - State of the Edit Field

Hi,


I have to Edit controls and in the exit of one edit control i want to chech whether the Field is properly entered or not and if it is properly entered I want to gray/readonly the Edit Field and allow him to go to the next field.

I am not able to find a solution?

Hi Prolay...

in the onexit (browser) code of the first field, check what you need (if necessary via ajax for the server verif)... Then do a returntocapture to go to the other field or back to the current one...

Greying the field is possible in javascript only in browser code, if I remember correctly, but it's doable...
