Return selected table column in combo box

I have a combo box and a table:
In combo I have ID's: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
In my main table I have two columns: content, ID
x, 1
y, 2
z, 3
...
I would like to know how can I make it work, that when I click on desired column in table(for example ID=3), combo should also point to that ID (3)! Thanks for help!
