[WD11] Editor Error

Hi
For the last week or so I have had Windev crash when I highlight a block of source code and then hit the right mouse key. As soon as I hit the mouse key I get the error shown; it occurs in every project and doesn't matter if I highlight 1 line or 100. Any ideas on how to solve?

Just noticed the problem is even worse than I thought. Occurs whenever I press the right mouse button in the code editor. No problems using it anywhere else in the IDE though.

Thanks

David

Hi,

a) Have you tried repairing the project?

b) Does this happen in all projects OR just a specific one?

If it is one specific project, the repair may fix the problem based on the global procedure that is erroring out.

Cheers!

Hello David

Because it is happening in all projects, unless they have a common link via some global code, I would suspect your Windev installation.

Can you load the project onto another computer running Windev, if it works on that computer then it would indicate a reinstall of Windev on your computer.

Thanks guys, not really what I wanted to hear Al but everything is fine on the notebook so with a bit of luck copying that across will save me a full reinstall.

Hey David,

Sorry I missed the "happens in every project" bit.

Cheers!
