Right click on table does not show XLS-export

We have a strange item: we have migrated a Windev-application from V10 => V12.
Tested and seems that everything works fine... But when we install at customer-site, and there you right-click on a table, the export_to_XLS is grayed. We do not have this on our developer- pc's...
Problem is an ALL the tables, but only on customer-pc's where we use EXE & WDL.

Anyone knows how to solve this problem?

Hello Geert

It doesn't make a lot of sense and I have no explanation to offer you but some things you might like to try:

If it is grayed then it may be a setting on the client computer, can you recheck the associations in file manager ?
Also copy an xls file to their computer and double click on it and see if it opens or has a problem.

Search your code for Disableaaf() in the faint hope that somehow you are turning off the export, although I think this makes it disappear not go gray

Delete your cpl directory to force a complete recompile and rebuild the exe again. This has helped us with a couple of strange problems running exe's at client sites.

Al

Thanks for all your help....
Seems we have a problem with the installation of the framework. Although all of the dll's are checked, somse of them are not included in the framework. So when we install the application at the customers side by means of a network install, not all of the dll's are copied... this is the reason the XLS-export does not work...

We are now forcing the dll to install on the client-pc's because copying them manually is not an option (too many users, spread all over the world....)

We tested one client and putting in all the dll's solves the problem.
