[WD10] Export to Excel

Hi all,

I'd like some advice on the following.

I need to convert a lot of .FIC files to Excel. In Windev this is easily done, but only complete files. What I want is to convert only a few columns of each record from a .FIC file to a Excel file.

Any ideas how this can be done the easy way ???

Thank you for your reply. I have to export/convert ALL records but NOT ALL columns, so I don't need queries.

When you export to Excel from a table on the screen you have the choice of sending hidden columns or not, that means that if you create a window that displays your fic file in a table you can hide the columns you don't want and then export the remaining columns from the table to Excel using the TableToExcel() command
