windev won't launch after uninstall then reinstall

I uninstalled windev, reinstalled it. Now it will not launch, but windev.exe is running. I already removed cthelper.exe, which is what was suggested in the Troublshooting FAQ.

I have Windev up and running after deleting all references to windev in the registry.

Yep,

That's sometimes needed. I think it's because the registry is used to store window positions etc. and it sometimes gets corrupted.
