Simulating Progress Bars

Hi all,

What is the best way to simulate a progress bar for pages that take some time load in WebDev?

I have a batch routine that goes after a WebService and retrieves data, that takes about 30-60 secs then displays the results in a page. I am trying to put either a progress bar or open a new page to show something to the end user.

Appreciate any feedback.
