Hi Guenter, It's very strange: in my large project, only date fields are affected. In numeric fields, the display and the return values are kept as was in V23. In currency fields the same with numeric. What version you use (32 or 64bit)? I use 64bit. Regards Vassilisby Vassilis - WinDev Forum
This issue concerns only the Windev. In Webdev the date fields remain unchanged! Regards Vassilisby Vassilis - WinDev Forum
Hello DW, This is some kind of bug of WD24. The same happens to me whene I transfer a project from V23 to V24. In this case I have to "twake" the display mask and then return value of each field in the Project (even with Table columns of this type) manually!! Aften this everything is OK! Hi dennis, Take a look at This Regards Vassilisby Vassilis - WinDev Forum

Hello dear members, Today, I created a number of large tables including memo feilds (56GB size and over 150K or records), with Hxxx functions. During this operation, I observer that under BDD directory of HFSQL Server, there is a _hyl subdir wich contains several files of type: "Part_xxx.HYL". The problem is when the whole operation is completed, the total size of these files reachby Vassilis - WinDev Forum
I downloaded the V24 of HFSQL Server. It's noticeably faster! Vassilisby Vassilis - WinDev Forum
Hi Steven, That's good news. Until now, the Server has 1-Xeon processor, with WS-2012, 16GB RAM, Raid-1 for the OS and a single disk (!!!) for DB wich counts 115GB of data. Even with this configuration, the whole operation is very very good. In a few days, a new Server with 2 Xeon processors, WS-2016, 64GB RAM, Raid-1 for the OS and Raid-10 (6 disks) for the DB. will be operational.by Vassilis - WinDev Forum
Hi AadG and Steven, To make a backup I use the Scheduled backups of HFSQL Server, for years with no problem. The scheduler makes two backups: 1. Full Backup every 5 days of a month at given hour (at night) 2. Differential Backup every day at given hour. In the same way, I make scheduled reindexing of all databases. At this point I have a concern, about degradation of performance ofby Vassilis - WinDev Forum
Hi, Indeed in V23 the auto correction has some issues, but: > Make a project repair. > Go to compilation errors and double-click the error notification. > When the appropriate piece of code opens, then the auto-correction notification is appeared!!! The above is not warking all time, but most of it. I wish you happy New Year! Vassilisby Vassilis - WinDev Forum
Hi Sammy, The composite key is just a combination of two or more fields. So if you decide to go with Query, then do something as follows: SELECT bla-bla-bla FROM File WHERE Field1 = {Param1} AND Field2 = {Param} ORDER BY SomeFieldOfYourFile ASC (or DESC) The Param1, Param2 are extracted with the way I wrote you before. Regards Vassilisby Vassilis - WinDev Forum
Hi Sammy, Just use HBuildKeyValue(...) function as follows: HFilter(File, HBuildKeyValue(File, CompositeKeyName, SearchString1, SearchString2) + hMinVal, ... HBuildKeyValue(File, CompositeKeyName, SearchString1, SearchString2) + hMaxVal) Regards Vassilisby Vassilis - WinDev Forum
Hello Sammy, First of all you have to split the words to different substrings. For this use ExtractString: SearchString1 = ExtractString(SearchField, 1, " ") SearchString2 = ExtractString(SearchField, 2, " ") Assign each searchstring to the elements of composite key and you have done! Regards Vassilisby Vassilis - WinDev Forum
Dear Aad, in my opinion it's better to work with Query, as i do most of times. Regards Vassilisby Vassilis - WinDev Forum
Dear Aad, Did you check the file ?. See if the coresponing field has the 1 value entered is some records. Regards Vassilisby Vassilis - WinDev Forum
Hi Aad, what type of Field is? If it's boolean or numeric then should work. If it's string then try this: HFilter(File, StringBuild("Field = '%1'", Value)) // enclose the %1 in single quotes Regards Vassilisby Vassilis - WinDev Forum
Hi Aad, Try with HFilter(....) in the Opening report section. Regards Vassilisby Vassilis - WinDev Forum
Hi again, The above settings are for V23 !!! Regards Vassilisby Vassilis - WinDev Forum
Hi, check the Hconf.ini file under HFSQL Server folder. Two entries should be there under section: hkaInterval, hkaTimeout If no, add them as follows: hkaInterval=1800 hkaTimeout=120 The first is "Keep Alive Interval" in seconds (30 min) The second is "Keep Alive Timeout" is seconds (2 min) Good luck Vassilisby Vassilis - WinDev Forum
Hi Mike, Just try this piece of code: Info(LengthToString(fDriveInfo("C:", fdTotalSpace), sizeGB ) ) According to the help the result should be stored in Numeric type variable. Regards Vassilisby Vassilis - WinDev Forum
Hi Mujahid, maybe the use of Charact(ascii code) function will do the job. Regards Vassilisby Vassilis - WinDev Forum
