Hi, really? In the past I've been using these functions a lot but never had a feedback of our customers about errors. Maybe, there's a difference when running a 64-bit vs. 32-bit application?by harvey68 - WinDev Forum
Hi Steve, why not build your own INI file for the most used tables in your application? Each time the window is closed you could write the current adjustments to the INI file. You can add a menue entry in the AAF-Menue of the Tables and offer to restore the last configuration from last closing. The group would be UserName.WindowName.TableName, so, you could have a single INI file for the whole apby harvey68 - WinDev Forum
Hi, oh I see! RDP always has a problem with the number of colors, RDP reduces the transfer size of the remote image in order to get it through faster. Imho, there are two ways to test for a fix. Firtly, I'd look into parameters for the RDP, perhaps there's a way to tweak the number of colors. Second, I'd try to change the border of the edit controls for a test then. Hi, this smells a) like a problem of the graphics card ? b) maybe there's a conflict with the settings of "enlargement" which were added in v23 ? I'd try some variations of that ... Kind regards, G. Predlby harvey68 - WinDev Forum
Hi, the function for a reset is: (prerequesite is to have 100% column anchoring in total!) You can add this function to the Global functions of your project. Add a call to ResetColumnConfiguration() as a menue item to the popup of your Table control. PROCEDURE ResetColumnConfiguration() TC,TX, TW, TD are int PopName is string = PopupField() TN is string TC = TableCount(PopNaby harvey68 - WinDev Forum
Yes. 1 - you define a trigger on HAdd, HModify in the project code. There you have to define a procedure name. This procedure will be run BEFORE a record is added or changed in the file: IF not HDescribeTrigger("ZAHLKOND","HADD,HMODIFY","ZAHLKOND_MakeNumWerte",hTriggerBefore) THEN Error("Error in trigger-description of ZAHLKOND_MakeNumWerte") ENby harvey68 - WinDev Forum

Hi Steven, there is number of external users ("freelancers") working to build a rather complex shop system on this server. This may have had some impact on usability, I can't say what they did in detail. There is a dead line on next Monday when we will move the whole shop thing to the new server of our customer. I apologize for any inconveniences experienced and hope it willby harvey68 - WinDev Forum
Hi, there are some fine online solution out there www.expert-pdf.com/de/ppc/pdf-in-word Mostly referred to: A good idea is to convert the pdf to an image first and then do an OCR of it which results in in Word document. Hi, oh, sorry, I don't use that - it's pretty new. I'd expect it to have some, uh, issues. If you can make a good and small demo of the problem, please submit it to PC Soft Tech Support! Kind regards, G. Predlby harvey68 - WinDev Forum
The supercontrol may fire the "selecting a row .." event. Have a look at the processes of the supercontrol, maybe the table control inherits a "selected" event? I'd try to "disassemble" the supercontrol and use the controls separately without the supercontrol.by harvey68 - WinDev Forum
Hi, this sounds very weird indeed. Is there any trtSelect.. process used somewhere in that supercontrol? That may trigger the table's process "Selecting a row .." if not propery defined.by harvey68 - WinDev Forum
Hi, do you really use EVENTS or just the built-in "Selecting a row of Tablexx" ? Events can be tailored to a single control as well as the built-in ones are restricted to work on the control with focus. So, if the focus is on an edit control there should be no way to fire a "selecting a row ..." event on the table control. Are you sure, it is a "Selecting a row of Tablby harvey68 - WinDev Forum
Hi, "Layout Editor" = "Windows Editor"? I'm using it on a daily basis, sometimes with rather complex windows too but did not find any big problems. One of the problems may be that the settings may become weird after changes of anchoring. You should always look at the percentages of anchoring and not only click one of the symbols! There you will find some 100% valuesby harvey68 - WinDev Forum

Hi cabinetman, this is the way MDI is working! Btw, WINDEV by itself is an MDI application too! If you have several windows open and one of them is maximized then all of the MDI child windows will be maximized. Admitted, the mechanics of MDI are a bit weird. However, I'm still using MDI too. The trick is to keep all of the open windows forcibly maximized and to keep users from diggby harvey68 - WinDev Forum
Hi, you HAVE TO have some way to close an application, preferably by clicking a menue-item oder a button. You have to choose between intentionally closing the project and closing it using the X in the upper right corner of the window. So, when the button CloseTheDamnedProject is clicked then it runs WeReallyShutDown = True Close() Your project has an event "Closing YourProject"by harvey68 - WinDev Forum
