Hi Sam Do you have decent exception handling in your app stack? WHEN EXCEPTION IN --> Code DO --> Log your runtime exceptions here END You should have always one Exception Handling block in your project init code as well. This will capture any exception that is not captured at a lower level in the code stack. Cheers Peterby PeHoBe - WinDev Forum
Hi YY I assume your project configuration is Unicode and the database fields (also this memo field) are unicode text fields? It might be worth to check that in the analysis editor. There is a bulk conversion check somewhere in the menu. If all is OK on that side it concerns a bug I guess. Personally never had any unicode issues since V19 (Before that I had issues with Chinese and Koreanby PeHoBe - WinDev Forum
Hi TCV Guess this is what you are looking for: hCreateView() https://doc.windev.com/en-US/?3044159&name=hcreevue_fonction Cheers Peterby PeHoBe - WinDev Forum
Hi TCV Not sure... Moved away from HFSQL already a long time ago because of its constraints for my purposes. So in other databases this works pretty easy using standard SQL, TSQL, PL/SQL... CREATE VIEW MyViewName ( SELECT... ... ) Maybe HFSQL is not very SQL standard but you may give it a try if it supports those basic SQL statements. Cheers Peterby PeHoBe - WinDev Forum
Hi TCV Can you first tell us the type of database you are using? Cheers Peterby PeHoBe - WinDev Forum
Hi Steven In France there is the obligation as-of January 1st 2024 for large corporations to do e-invoicing, gradually moving to all businesses as-of January 1st 2026 in a B2B / B2G environment. The system allows for direct integration but work mostly via a third party that has all the certifications and acts as post-office between all parties. Anyway, all transaction go in the end throughby PeHoBe - WinDev Forum

Hi Al In order for these solutions to work with a WX backend, you need to REST API's in WX that do the HFSQL IO stuff and implement some of the business logic. Next from these low code solutions you simply point to the REST API endpoint and it all works out of the box with just a couple of clicks. In line with modern app architecture paradigms, you simply use WX as a REST enabled blackby PeHoBe - WinDev Forum
Hi Yogi Yang Thanks for the links. I knew a couple of your list but some of your additional references show what the new way of software development is heading at including AI based code generation. Noodl seems a very advanced rapid application development and full stack system indeed... Amazing how easy it generates standard JS code via an IA model. https://youtu.be/p_bClNuV9Ak?featuby PeHoBe - WinDev Forum
Hi JP I'll remain polite... They live on another planet ;-) Cheers and have a great weekend ! Peterby PeHoBe - WinDev Forum
Hi Piet I understand your pain. Recently I've had a call with Fabrice Chambon, one of the commercial directors at PCSoft explaining him why we're only still using WX on a maintenance scheme for existing solutions of ours and do/have done any new development in other technologies nowadays. Here are the main points mentioned: - The overall architecture and technology offered by Wby PeHoBe - WinDev Forum
Hi Pauly This is the way to do it: - Add an 'options' method to your post/get/... web service definition. See Afbeelding1.png - In there you do a call to set the CORS options for the endpoint. See Afbeelding2.png Cheers Peterby PeHoBe - WinDev Forum

Hi, You can but it depends on how the endpoint has its interface defined. In the classical method you have to use the httpcreateform/httpsendform method. https://doc.windev.com/en-US/?1000017190&name=httpenvoieformulaire_fonctionby PeHoBe - WinDev Forum
Hi JP Based on your requirements AWP I'ld say... It is more complex, but about most modern web app is session free (in the sense that a server side session container is kept alive like in WB dynamic mode). Cheers Peterby PeHoBe - WinDev Forum

Hi Cabinetman Since Android 10 or 11, the storage security and access has changed. You need to take this into account. Let me check in my coding on how to define this and come back to some sample code. If I recall correctly, there's also a FAQ on the PC$ website. https://faq.pcsoft.fr/21548-faq-read.awp And here's a code snippet from a common mobile app class that sets the aby PeHoBe - WinDev Forum
Hi Steve You need to install the HFSQL Cluster version to do that. https://doc.windev.com/en-US/?1000019030&name=presentation_hfsql_cluster Cheers Peter Holemansby PeHoBe - WinDev Forum
Hi Michael To my knowledge OpenSister() is what you need to use to have non modal behaviour. Cheers Peterby PeHoBe - WinDev Forum
Hi YogiYang Guess you're talking about data scraping and not data scrapping. (One P vs two) A complete different thing. Several ways to do this would be: - Load the HTML into a a WX HTMLDocument type variable and query the html data from there - Use plain simple js (which you can use from within W to do this for which you'll find hundred of thousands of examples on the internetby PeHoBe - WinDev Forum

Hi For Zebra, I generate .prn files which I next send by socket to the printer (network Zebra printers). Before generating the .prn file by teh driver you can set about any parameter to the driver (iParameter) which will include it in the prn file. Cheers Peterby PeHoBe - WinDev Forum
Hi MDP It looks that your IIS server is configured to use another Webdev version for .awp pages. Review your handler mappings in IIS for *.awp. Cheers Peterby PeHoBe - WinDev Forum
Hi Aad My suggestion is to apply the sort to the data source and then do a TableDisplay(), this will provide you the always the desired qequencing. Cheers Peterby PeHoBe - WinDev Forum
Hi Derek UPDATE: It seems you can in the mean time: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/104541/how-can-we-connect-usb-senitel-hsp-dongle-in-azure.html But my general remarks and considerations on the dongles remain valid... Hi There has been a lot of fuss on the French fora about this... I have had this too and I think it only got resolved with V27 update 3 or 4 in the end. Loosing code changes is unacceptable imho as it drops all confidence in the platform/ At first PCS reacted very lightheaded to this when reading the fora. There didn't seem to be a real reproduction scenario and it happended sort ofby PeHoBe - WinDev Forum
