Hi Stuart

French? :-)

Probably any high level procedural language with OO extensions

From my experience, WLanguage itself has many similarities to Basic, xbase, COBOL etc.
It also has many task specific functions & commands you are unlikely to find elsewhere

Just get some experience of conditional programming, loops, string handling etc and download Windev Express to play with. The IDE and development process are somewhat different from most of the major players out there and whilst show great promise, also require a change in mindset.

Just my 2 cents pennies worth
