[wd28] no table in analysis

Hi,

if you create app that connect to external Database and no table in analysis created

you use query object to pull data from database and show on report.
few bugs will occurred
1. query will not appear when create report
2 binding appear disable in item

If I understand correctly your description, those are not bugs.

BINDING an item from a DB is going through the description of this item in the analysis.
No analysis = no binding

Queries that are listed as available data sources are ALSO linked to the analysis (ie made with the query editor and based on the analysis), so pnce again, no analysis, no queries available as sources of report...

if you CHOOSE to NOT USE the analysis, then there are many tools and options that become unavailable...

Query can contain no table
for example

select 0 as sno , '' as fullname

this still legit sql statement
