I have a query which retrieves a bunch af records from a (Microsoft) sqlserver.
When I run the query in the Sql Manager the result are presented quite fast
When I run the same query from a Windev app, it takes much longer.
Both tools run on the same client (not the server itself).
In the windev test I don't even present the data on scren, Ijust run the query and perform a FileToArray() to get the result. And even it is slower
What could cause this differnece? Any ideas?
