User Groupware can be implemented fast! A click and you're done! Note: there are some special Wlanguage functions / properties coming with Std User Groupware.
Custom User Groupware allows everything you can achieve with Std User Groupware and more - you can even use most of those special functions / properties of Std User Groupware.
Imaginable functions are:
1 - Keeping of log-in AND log-out date/time of users within a file Log-File and you'd be able to analyze the file. As an extension each visited window could put a record into this file, you could see, what a certain employee did and how long. This is for sensitive data only.
2 - Getting the IP-address and computer name of the user's computer. Means, you could limit users to usage of known company computers only. Login from outside? No! You could even authorize certain employees to use certain computers only.
3 - You could extend the log-in process by adding a fingerprint-detector or even add face recognition.
4 - You can stop certain / all employees from using company computers / databases outside working hours.
