[UPDATE] - Solved it. Just needed to install the HASP Install package from PCSoft

Has anyone installed the WD dev tools under an Oracle VirtualBox ? I'm trying to set up a Windows VM under Linux and running the installer and it stops at trying to find the dongles (which I have set as accessible USB devices in the VirtualBox system and Windows did set up these devices when the VM booted). Does PC Soft allow installation under a VM or am I missing a setup step?

I have had some luck in the past by installing the HASP drivers, both in the VM and in the underlying OS. This has worked in the past where I had a Windows VM running on a Linux host. Have never tried it where both the host and the VM were Windows.
