Difference between email.sender and email.senderaddress

Hi,

have always been confounded by these two. Currently have to send email by smtp through smtp.office365.com

On another note, how do you configure your email address to appear as

Company Ltd. <info@companyltd.com>

Thanks and regards

If I remember correctly

emailsender is Company Ltd.
emailsenderaddress is info@companyltd.com

and if you fill them correctly, that will answer you second question

Hi Argus,

This is not my experience. I tried what you suggested, and I could not send an email at all. Received an error, that no sender was given. The Sender must be a clean email address, nothing else. And obviously the same applies to the SenderAddress. So there seems to be no difference between them, except that Sender is mandatory and Senderaddress is not. However, there are some specific notes about these when using Outlook or Lotus, see:

Of course this might also depend on the practices used by the ISP? Some might do it like you said, while some won't, like mine for instance.

Best regards
Ola
