[WD] Speed of adding and modifying records in HF C / S database?

Is there a way to speed up the addition or modification of large amounts of data in the HF C / S database?

When the server is in the cloud, writing down a large amount of data goes very slowly.

and that is one more reason why you should never work directly against a DB in the cloud.

Instead, use a web service... when you need to add/update a lot of record, prepare a file with the information needed, send the file to the webservice in ONE transfer, and let the webservice do all the add/edit locally... Much faster that way.
