Hi,
I use HTransactionStart (equivalent to HTransaction) in all my code - (adds,deletes or modifies)
The only place I don't use them is with specific adds - the ones that add one record to one table only.

Works just fine - but make sure you have a UPS on your server and turn OFF any disk caching.
