SOLVED: using Globals in WDFAA internal window of wordprocessor
November 19, 2019 05:12PM
Hello to you all,

I am using the wordprocessor of WD. And I am changing the internal ribbon.
I want to use global nouns from the project to extend the menu. I get the error message:
- The 'gnName' element belongs to the project: it cannot be accessed from an internal component ('WDFAA').

I tried to pass a structure as a parameter to the internal window but I don't know where to pass it. Normally it is no problem but how do I do that with the wordprocessor control?

How can I solve this?

Thanks in advance. Regards Frans

Solved: using Globals in WDFAA internal window of wordprocessor

Hello to you all,.
I wanted to expand a menu in the ruban by programming.
I had to do this in the window code and not in the WP control or in the ruban.

That was all. very simple (when you know how to do it )
Regards Frans

Hello Frans,

I see that you use Windev's wordprocessor. Are you using the spellchecker and if so, how did you manage to get this to work ??

Best regards,

Aad

Hello Aad,

I know that you have a problem with the spellchecker. If I had a solution I already would have given you the answer.
We are busy implementing the Wordprocessor in our application.

Sorry,
Regards Frans

Hi Frans,

Thank you for your reply. Does this mean that you implement without a checker or are you going to search for a solution.
I'm working with RTF-fields know with the MS spellchecker which works fine but the WD Wodprocessor is much more professional.

Hi Aad,

Indeed. We are implementing without a checker. We have enough work converting from Word to WD.
Our main problem is that it does not support .doc files.
Perhaps we can phone ? Much faster and easier. And afterwards place our solution on this forum?
