Webdev High Number of Concurrent Users

Hi

Has anyone used Webdev to create a project that for example has a 1000 concurrent users? Does it handle it ok?

I ve developed a few sites but never with so many users. Also will be developing iOS/Andorid app to work alongside it.

Can anyone let me know their experiences of anything similar?

Max 200 here - but it depends on what you mean by concurrent. Do you mean that they are all on permanently at the same time?

Remember that the whole web thing is stateless, meaning that there is no permanent connection and only sessions are kept open.

Does that make sense?
