Reinforced security option

Using Windev 22, HF Classic

When I set password HF classic files, I get the following [warning] message

A password was used on <xxxx> file. For better security, we advice you to enable the 'reinformced security' option (file descriiption, Details Tab in the data model editor).

I could not find where this option is available , to enable it.

Is it necessary to enable this option, when password is used ? Any pros / cons, in using / not using this option ?

Hello Sivaprakash,

1. Go to the Analysis pane and press Ctrl+Alt+Enter, or just over a file, do right-click and select "Description of data file.
2. Select the "Details" tab and check "Enable a high security level"
3. Validate and you are done !!

Thanks Vassilis,

Option "Enable a high security level" is available. I could not link between 'reinforced security option' and 'High Security level". Seems Windev need to inform with correct message.
