I have a barcode scanning app that I created and have been using for a year now. Recently I have made a small change to one of the data files ("Scan") where I add 3 composite Keys . The file gets the data filled after each scan to record that is was scanned.
Unicode String 32 - This us a GUID
string 24 - this is Activity that changes (Receive,Load,Drop)
string 32 - This is the Barcode
Key 1 GUID + activity
Key 2 GUID + Barcode
Key 3 GUID + Barcode + Activity
Other Info:
Data is imported into the scanner with code from a HFSQL DB and after scan is done the scanner is completely cleared. On software updates I delete the data files and recreate them to make sure the structure is always in sync.
When I sent it out for testing 2 out of 4 scanners had corrupt data files one 500 scans in the other 6.
I have never had a issue until I created these Keys.
Any one have issues with HF on a android device and data Corruption?
