WD24 Print preview - Export - Email with attached PDF CORRUPTED

There is a bug in latest WD24 in creating PDF's from preview window.

To reproduce:
- Print preview
- Export
- Email with attached PDF.
Result: The PDF is corrupted

This is only in 64 bit applications and not in 32 bit applications.
We reported this bug to PCSoft.

PCSoft released a patch for this problem. We tested it and the problem is gone. PDF is not corrupted anymore.

PCSoft reference: 113109
- \framework\win32x86\wd240prn.dll (3740,00 Ko) - version : 24.0.142.7
- \framework\win64x86\wd240prn64.dll (4707,00 Ko) - version : 24.0.142.7

The patch was delivered fast and without discussion. Chapeau PCSoft smiling smiley

Can´t understand why PC Soft has still no professional patch management.
Why the install an update program with every release at my computer where nothing is in it which i could also find at there website ?

files are starting with "WD240" = WINDEV 24.0

the reason I am asking is because these files WD240* [in the patch] are also under the WEBDEV and WINDEV Mobile structure [Framework etc ..]
And they are of the same version - say wd240prn.dll is available in all 3 products, in their .\framework directory - and ALL 3 are the same - same goes for the 64 bit versions.

Hi Steven,
I did not look into the framework of WM and WB. If those dlls really are of same size and version - not only of same name - then it shouldn't be wrong to test them there.

Hello All

The same dll is also present in all the sub directories of ..\Programs\Framework\UniversalApps for all the Windev products. It looks like a standard common dll setup across all the products.

Hello and thanks in advance for the help.

When I run my database web app developed in Version 23 from any computer and preview a report which uses the PDF Format, I can see it fine now, if I open the application from any mobile device and preview the file it offers to download it into the mobile device, when I do, and I try to open it, it reports that the file can't be open because it's corrupted.

Any Ideas or help
