Map control vs gglGetMap method

Hello:

I'm using WebDev 23 and I would need to create a web page with a map on it. I can see there are two ways of doing this;

- Using the Map control
- Using gglGetMap to display a Google Map in an Image control.

(and both use Google Map API, requiring a payment...)

My question is, what are the differences and which one would be better? My intention is to show the map, and potentially, some markers on it and trace a route.

I did something similar to WB18. I used HTML to display maps and of course the HTML code to manage maps.


Mobile app is not available for new API key, if interested you can send apk file for Android to view
