is regex available windev 23?

it is either too simple to use and I am missing it or not available.

There is some some information under "Regular Expression" in the help
I have not had the need to use it so I can't comment on how usefull it may be.

yes but if you search for regex in the help you get nothing smiling smiley
and it did not cross my mind to search for regular expression.

Still, "regex" is short for "regular expression" - therefore, please use"regular expression" for searching in PC Soft's Help. Thank you!
