Copy Analysis

Dear All,

I cannot find an answer to my question, although I seem to remember there was a thread about this many moons ago...


I would like to copy a complete Analysis (ie all database files and their links) from one project into a new project.
Then I wish to be able to modify the newly imported Analysis in the new project, while maintaining the original Analysis untouched.


Can someone point me in the right direction please?

Hello Robin,

It is quite straightforward. Copy the analysis directory from the original project into the new project directory and point the new project at it using the "Analysis" option in the "Project Description"

Thanks for your assistance, I've got it copied across now.
I had been playing about, but only copying the .wdd & .wda files.

I remember Fabrice writing an article describing how to rename a project, I'll see if I can find it & then I can have the whole project with the same name.
