Using WM23

The apk I'm generating is > 100MB which gives me problems with distributing via Google Play. Anyone now how I split the file to get around this?

Hi Paul

Had no idea you get even generate an apk file that large. Maybe Google Play does not allow files that large. Is there any spec that states what the largest size can be? What problems are you having?

Yes the max is 100MB at the moment, although google is releasing a new format which will allow for larger sizes.

My problem is the database which accompanies my app boosts the package size. I've managed to get it down to 80MB so am ok for now.
