[WD] Autolinewrap on a table cell

Hello to all

My Scenario:
A table with various columns and in particular a text column to insert a long description of works.
As you know, it is possible to set an "Automatic Line Wrap" depending on the size of the column
and Windev will automatically adjust the text written based on its length in its available size, applying
an automatic CRLF when the end of the column size is reached.

The problem is that we can't define a max number of characters to insert "per line" and then apply
an automatic line wrap. Now it is depending from the column size and not from the characters written.

Is there a way to solve this problem without modify the column size manually?
As a result i would print in a report ONLY a certain number of chars.

Hi Gianno,

imho, you can define the maximum number of rows of a table control. You can add an ellipsis and at mouse-over you can show a tooltip which displays the remaining part of the text. The "number of rows" is nice, because a report on the table will show exactly those lines and not more.
