Hi All

What is the best recommendations regarding password storage? I want to hash the password and store only the hash. Is this the recommended best option? Does the field which will store the hash need to be set in any specific way, extra size, etc.?

[UPDATE] I suppose the best option is to hash the password and then use Encode() with Base64 and store that result in a text field ... ?

Hi JP,

you should "salt" the hash.
