Re: How safe to use HFSQL in Windev Mobile ?

Would like to know to how safe to use HFSQL in Windev Mobile [WM22 + HFSQL] without database transactions ? Seems Transactions are not supported in Windev Mobile + HFSql while running locally in devices. Without transactions, with No commit and rollback features, is it safe to use it ? or have anyone faced any specific issues without this feature ?

Hi, the idea behind the "no transactions" of HFSQL in Mobile - aside from technical reasons (connections are frequently lost in mobile environments) - is to use web services instead of direct access to the remote server database. Or replication to ease the "connection lost" syndrome.

OK. When the database stored locally, in devices. For remote connections [HFSql C/s] transactions are available, I think. When databases are going to be stored locally within the devices, transactions are not available.

Have anyone faced any issues, without this feature ?
