We are using the MSDASQL option to connect to a database. We have had zero issues for many years using WX products. It simply works.
One of our clients has set up a server in the DMZ where the web apps will be running, among other things. These web apps connect to a database that is on the LAN. The technicians are directing connections to an IP that is then re-directing to the IP of the actual database server. We are now getting intermittent premature disconnects from the database server. The error message is:
WSAECONNRESET (10054)
Research suggests any number of things that can cause this. The techies may need help as it seems as though they have never encountered this before.
So I ask here - any of you seeing this before? Any ideas where to focus the debugging on the network?
