Identify Patch numbers

Hi All,

In my application I have the exe version being displayed and it is working well.

What I would like to have is the ability to know if any patches are installed.

I cannot see any WD commands to do this automatically, and before I code something to look through the exe directory for files beginning with "patch," and work out the number and date of the latest one I wondered if there was an easy way to do this in Windev?

Many thanks,
Robin.

Hi Robin,

If you install your application patches using the PCS method, then you can look at the EXE names as they'll have a 3 digit number in the filename which represents the patch number.

Hello Darren,

Thanks for your reply.
I guess I'll have to do it that way - I was merely curious if there was a 'clever' WD command that would do it for me.

No worries,

Thanks
