Datafile does not belong to .wdd

Hello to you all,

I have a datafile. Lets say FIle_Client that is in my analysis.
But when I do an automatic update of all the files. It is not modified.

When I do a manual WdModfic I get a yellow icon for the File_Client and it says that it does not belong to the analysis.

How can I solve this?
Thanks in advance.
Regards Frans

Hi Frans,

In HF 7+, the file is linked to the analysis (GUID); and in some cases, that link can be broken (yellow)... it can also be that the file version is not the same as the other ones so there is adoubt a bout it.

By default, these files are not upgraded but both wdmodif AND hmodifyStructure have an option to FORCE the upgrade...

So just look in the help for it and you will be fine.

Hello Fabrice,

Thanks for your answer. I hoped that there was a possibility to get it in sync with the program. Found the hmodfic parameter.
I hope that a change in the file wont give the same problem again.
Regards Frans
