[WD11] -Fic file has embedded drive and folder name - Solved

Hello All

Strange problem. At a new installation we cannot write to some of the HF Classic files because some of them keep referring back to our server drive as if it has somehow been embedded into their definition. We have tried setting up a Rep file and also removing the Rep file but no change.


The error message is :
Unable to initialize "TableFichiers' control Hyper File error
Unable to create <K:\Data> Directory //this is where the data was originally on our server.
System Error Details: The system cannot find the path specified.
Do you want to reindex it?

Solved

The transaction logs were the culprit.
In the analysis they were originally set to a directory of ..\jnl but somehow during an anaylysis edit they were changed to the current directory and that was locked in to their structure.

The WDLog program allowed me to edit the definition at the client site and we will now check the analysis
