[WD10] Slow writing of configuration in ini-file

Hi,

i do let writing all window position, table column order etc. into an ini-file. If something has changed according this info, it takes several seconds after clicking on 'close' until the window really closes, although the ini file is very small (9 to 40 k. Customers think the app is frozen. This happens on all pc's I have tested.

Any ideas how to speed up without loss of this feature ?

Hi,

the problem is the construct 'ini-file'. Slow 'driver' or so ??
Using a xml-file speeds up extremely, closing is instantly.
