Does the search on this site work?

I typed in the words "how" and then "How do" in the search and was told "NO RESULTS FOUND"

First let me apologize for being such a novice, but I am trying to learn ...

I know the last 2 topics I entered started with the words "How do" ...

Why do I get "No results found" ?

I am hoping to be able to learn from others and not have to ask questions that have been asked an answered ...

Any help is greatly appreciated ...

I think the Search has been broken for a month or so now. It will not find parts of words so you have to get an exact match which can be tricky.

So it will find "hyper" as in Hyper File but will not find "hype"
"Hyper Files" returns 6 hits but "Hyper File" returns 11 hits

I recall that some time ago it would find anything you asked for but I may be mistaken

Hi Dan,

I posted a few weeks ago that the search din't work.
Güenter replied that that was a known issue, due to the forum host. No solution was to be expected soon. You can search on the pcsoft forum, as they copy all posts from this forum. Perhaps we wil be forced to switch to this forum altogether

I don't have any problems with the search. just keep in mind that you search on "all dates"

I'm using "RSS popper" (Outlook plugin) and get all messages in Outlook, every minute.
Then searching is no problem anymore.

Just use Google with the search phrase

You will be shown an archive page and from there you can jump back to 'original format' of forum.
