Soap Server

When I create a webservice it installs and runs fine on the development box but doesn't install the soap server properly on our deployment machine.

After installing apache reports:

httpd: Syntax error on line 552 of C:/Program Files/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load C:/WDSoapSrv/WD120SAPA22.dll into server: The specified module could not be found.

Any advice / pointers would be greatly appreciated

Hi dsphere,

You need to make sure that the dll WD120SAPA22.dll is physically found in the folder WDSoapSrv. If it is not, you either need to put it there manullay or find the location it does exist at and modify the reference in the httpd.conf file and then restart apache.

Cheers!

Apologies - I should have mentioned that I had checked all that

I have since had assistance from PC Soft

"This problem can be related to the MSVCR71.DLL which is missing on the host computer. You may copy this DLL from the WinDev /programs/ folder to the same folder as the WD120SAPA22.DLL."

This indeed fixed the problem for me - worth noting for anyone else who may encounter the same problem

Thankyou for your assistance Ken
